11-Feb-2022: Date format amended for trans-Atlantic translation! After a long break, we are back with the Speedo Sectionals from Orlando. No payment is required to download any image. Higher resolution images may contain a discrete watermark to prevent infringements. The new album is here, and will be updated after the remaining days of the event. Enjoy!

06-02-2019: We have launched a temporary site for the MEUC 2019 gala this weekend The event organiser has commissioned us to provide free downloads for parents & competitors for a period of two weeks. The same content will be made available on both sites. Follow the Clients link to the correct page(s). Follow us on Instagram/Twitter for updates @AWAIRphoto.
31-07-2018: Photos from the Irish National Summer Championships, held in Dublin (Blanchardstown), will be available shortly. Images from the Swim England Summer Meet are uploading today - 120 from day one, with more to follow.
24-05-2018: Photos from the COBIS Games (#COBISGamesUK) have not been made available on this site due to restrictions enforced by the organiser. Some links have been shared privately with parents who attended, which are for personal use only.
The site will be offline for approximately 7 days, with effect from 25th May, to move to a new, faster server, and to ensure compliance with EU GDPR, other privacy legislation, industry best practise and primarily my conscience.
We believe that the way that images are published on this site does not fall under the remit of existing or proposed data protection laws. While there are undoubtedly some privacy issues, these are appropriately covered when acting on behalf of an event organiser as the 'official photographer', where prior notification has been provided.
After taking advice, we believe that this is still correct, although there are some aspects that can be improved on, prior to re-laucnhing the new server.
30-04-2018: Session 2 (Friday afternoon), 275 images uploading now. Session 3 & 4 will not be ready today! Still another 7,000 (of 11,500) to review...

26-04-2018: We have launched a temporary site for the MEUC 2018 gala this weekend. The event organiser has commissioned us to provide free downloads for parents & competitors for a period of two weeks. The same content will be made available on both sites. Follow the Clients link to the correct page(s). Follow us on Instagram/Twitter for updates @AWAIRphoto.
09-04-2018 (edited): The PNSC Easter Meet Album is now complete and available online here. There are a total of 1380 images of great swimmers. The images are mostly in chronological order (slight differences are from the clock times registered on two different cameras). There are 21 images per page (this can't be changed) and a total of 66 pages. The easiest method to view such a large set is with the built-in Slideshow. Sessions 2-7 (30-Mar to 01-Apr) were covered. Sessions start on the following pages with the respective image numbers: Session 2, page 2, 2001-; Session 3, page 15, 3001-; Session 4, page 21, 4001-; Session 5, page 33, 5001-; Session 6, page 46, 6001-; and Session 7, page 58, 7001-. Check the Help or FAQ pages for further information about the site. You may see a large watermark on images when viewing online, this will depend on your screen size or resolution. The (free) downloads also have this same watermark on the larger size images. When you make a purchase, the watermark is automatically removed and a download of the best quality image will automatically start.
23-03-2018: As advised on the Clients page, we have suffered from some sort of database corruption while preparing to launch the next batch of images. You may have noticed that no Albums were available for viewing. While we tried to diagnose the problem, all images were deliberately removed from the site. These are slowly being restored, but this will take several days. The most recent events will be restored first. Rest assured that no customer data was compromised - because we don't keep any!
21-03-2018: Album content is temporarily unavailable, while we prepare for our next gallery upload. Follow us on Instagram for updates.
30-11-2017: Our Instagram feed @AWAIRphoto is now the primary source for advising you when a new event has been published.
09-06-2017: We have added a Twitter channel @AWAIRphoto that will supplement and possibly replace this News page.
08-06-2017: After an extended delay (due to Firewall/Internet Connectivity restrictions while in China), the day 2 photos from the London Regional Event are now online. As the day 1 collection is slightly larger, this should be completed within the next 24 hours.
06-06-2017: UPDATE Our service provider has updated the website software and the download function is now working correctly.
04-06-2017: UPDATE We are working with our service provider to fix the problem that is preventing (free) downloads. This does not affect purchases, and selecting the shopping cart will result in the successful download of the best quality image without the large watermark.
03-06-2017: A few more problems with the Server have been identified. Some users are receiving an "Error 404" message when attempting to download images. I am not sure if this affects purchases, or only free downloads.
As I am currently in Beijing, covering a School Rugby tour, my access to the Admin area of the site is very limited. This will delay any fix, as even Google searches are difficult here.
Sorry, this is also the main reason for the delay for release of the London Swimming photos. The network connection is so unreliable, I am unable to upload images. I am looking for a workaround to minimise any further delay.
19-05-2017: UPDATE The problem has been identified and will take a couple of hours to fix. The password protect module has become corrupted. After 'rebooting', all passwords need to be set on the admin interface - I just need to make sure that the same passwords as you were issued are set correctly!
19-05-2017: The site appears to have developed a problem with displaying content. Not really sure why, but it's probably a database error. This might take a while to resolve. Expect an update in 12-24 hours.
13-05-2017: We have introduced a PDF guide to the site, to help you use the features available. At 7.3 MB, we suggest you download this and view with Adobe Reader or Acrobat, for optimum compatibility.
12-05-2017: Images from the Schools Swim League Final are now available.
09-05-2017: The 4th Lane Swim Series #4 photos are now available at the link below.
05-05-2017: Our latest event is the 4th Lane Swimming Academy Swim Series gala #4. The images will be available in about 48 hours.
03-05-2017: Images from the MEUC gala have been published. There are 784 in total. Please see the MEUC gala information page.
02-05-2017: We have had a minor fault with the website Contact Form. Some messages sent in the last few days have not been delivered. If you do not receive any reply to a Contact Form request, please check your Spam folder, and if there is no response, please try again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
30-04-2017: Our latest event is the MEUC 2017 Gala (28th April) - expect the images to be available after approximately 24-48 hours. This album is password protected.
07-04-2017: Sorry, it seems that some of the content has become 'scrambled' on the front page. No data has been lost or compromised, but we're checking logs to see what happened. Site content will be restored today. [Update: it appears that the site database became corrupted - some public images were found to be marked as 'private' and didn't subsequently appear on the front page.]
08-03-2017: The requirement for explicitly stating https & port 8083 is removed. The old links will still work, but will gradually be removed. Please ensure you have an https connection before starting any orders!
07-03-2017: The Braintree payment system approval has finally come through - however, based on customer feedback, we will stay with Stripe for its user interface, despite the fact that it costs a bit more!
05-03-2017: The photos for JESS Y6 Rugby at the DC 10s tournament have been published.
03-03-2017: Now using Stripe (stripe.com) as our payment provider. Please keep us informed with your feedback. From a user perspective, the form is a little easier to use, and allows you to save payment information (on your device) for repeat ordering. From our side, we already know that you will receive a nice clear email receipt for any purchases.
As with our previous choice (Braintree), your financial data never touches our server. To test if the system is properly connected and working, for the first 20 orders we have a SPECIAL OFFER: purchase a personal license for any single image and get another image free; or purchase 3 images and get two additional images free. [Additional images must be redeemed using the Contact Form.]
02-03-2017: Still waiting for final approval from Braintree for payment processing. Not sure if anyone has tried to make an order, and had difficulties, or is just confused by the options. Anyway, we have removed the different options for purchase, to avoid complication. The special offer is still available, and the multiple image discount will be permanent, just not shown at checkout. See the Orders page.
2017-02-24: Photos from the Schools Relay Gala at JESS have been published (they can also be found in the DESS & JESS client areas).
2017-02-22: Our latest event is the DASSA 2017 Athletics Meet in Dubai - now published to the site.
2017-02-21: Some Albums have been temporarily removed from the Hamilton set. They will be restored over the next 48 hours. Images from 3 galas in 2016 have already been restored, and everything should work normally, as you see it from your browser.
2017-02-21: Images from day 1 of the 2017 Hamilton Aquatics Dubai Open have been published.
2017-02-21: The embedded watermarks, seen on most images, are being replaced with a similar site-generated watermark, which will be automatically removed on purchasing an image license. Over the next 48 hours, all content prior to the 2017 Hamilton Aquatics Dubai Open will be replaced without this embedded watermark.
2017-02-20: The last major event covered was the 2017 Hamilton Aquatics Dubai Open - this is available in the Clients section. The Clients area consists of password-protected Sets or Albums of images. Please use the Contact Form if you have not received the password from Hamilton or your club coach.
2017-02-20: We plan to introduce a mailing list feature to announce the publication of any new event library. In the mean time, please use the Contact Form to request any update.
2017-02-20: The site has been 'soft launched' to make available photos from previous Hamilton events and the 2017 Dubai Open. Two important points to note (if you like the images and plan to return). 1) There are still numerous galleries (mostly private) that have not yet been uploaded. 2) All Hamilton photos need to be resubmitted to the Server to allow for removal of the watermark, for any purchases. Typically it has been taking about 12 hours to upload 500 images. Future uploads will be prioritised according to current/future event coverage.
